Pricing:
Prices are specific to your home location. Travel costs are added to the base pay below at $.50 per mile from Amy's Location.
Amy's base pay is $75/hour for in-home lessons. Travel Charge is added in your individual offer.
Ruff Starters Basic Obedience (7 Weeks, in-home) are $500 plus Travel Charge per lesson.
Ruff Achievers Intermediate Obedience (6 Weeks, in-home) are $426 plus Travel Charge per lesson.
Ruff Masters Advanced Obedience (6 weeks, in-home) are $426 plus Travel Charge per lesson.

I'm Amy Dunlap,
a certified dog trainer with over 10 years of experience helping families build better relationships with their dogs. My approach uses positive, reward-based techniques that are customized to every dog. I'll help teach you what your dog is communicating, show you why they're doing what they do, then show you how to teach a new, desired behavior in the place of the problem behavior. I'll also help you find appropriate tools and home management techniques to stop problem behaviors from returning.

FAQs
- How many sessions will my dog need?
That is specific to your dog and your budget. Simple things like obedience tend to be shorter, like 4-6 weeks, where reactivity and severe issues may take months to complete.
- What should I bring?
Bring your dog, at least 2 kinds of high value treats cut into pea-sized pieces (150 treats), your dog on a flat collar, a standard, 6 foot leash (no retractable leashes), and patience.
- Do you work with reactive dogs?
Yes! I worked and mentored for 2 years under a trainer whose facility specialized in fear and anxiety cases. I have a lot of experience working with reactive dogs.
- What's your cancelation policy?
You can cancel classes at any time, but there are no refunds on classes sold. We require at least 24 hours' notice for cancelations, so we have an opportunity to fill those time slots.
